Malaria Infection Study Thailand

Laying the foundations to develop new vaccines and bring forward the day that vivax malaria is eliminated in Thailand.

Enabling Better Vaccines, Faster

Currently malaria therapeutics are developing too slowly, and face challenges such as emerging drug resistance. Most new medications take at least 10 years of development and clinical testing before receiving approval. Our research is accelerating the development and testing of new vaccines and drugs to treat vivax malaria in Southeast Asia – a region that bears over 53% of the world’s vivax malaria cases – with the ultimate aim of bringing us closer to malaria elimination.
